- The P1 girls and boys took advantage of the sunny Autumn weather this morning and enjoyed going on an Autumn nature walk. Using their check list, they searched hard for signs of Autumn and had so much fun along the way.
- P7 & P2 join forces to celebrate World Mental Health Awareness Day. It is so important to ensure that even our young people are aware that it’s ok not to be ok sometimes.

- The P3 children were busy designing a layout for their ideal home. Having discussed houses and homes, they had lots of ideas about what they wanted to include in their house.
- What a day! P7 travelled to Belfast today to visit the Ulster Museum and see all it had to offer, including the exhibition of Dippy, the Natural History Museum’s iconic Diplodocus dinosaur skeleton!
- Our Irish Dancing After Schools Club is off to a flying start this year. We worked hard building our fitness, learning traditional and modern team dances as well as mastering fancy footwork along the way.
- Primary Five took some time out from their hard work in the classroom to enjoy some relaxing yoga during PE this week.
- Today Shona returned to school after a very successful weekend of Irish Dancing in London. Shona was the proud winner of three 1st place trophies and a 4th place medal for her dances.
- A huge well done to Chloe who represented Kingsisland Primary School in a showjumping competition at the weekend.
- The children have been working very hard since the start of September on their joined handwriting and their work has been very impressive so far!
- P3/4 After-school games club as always is a popular choice for our pupils. With dodgeball, hurling and football all taking place in today’s afternoon
