Healthy Lifestyles


We are a Healthy Eating school.

Children are encouraged to eat only healthy foods at break time.

We encourage our children to avoid foods with high sugar and fat content.

Children are encouraged  to drink either water or milk.


Water in School

Children are encouraged to bring a bottle of water to school.  Research has shown that water stimulates concentration levels and aids learning. 


We have a cooled fresh water machine installed in school.  Pupils are encouraged to use the machine  throughout the school day. Pupils are encouraged to have water bottles in class and to keep themselves fully hydrated. 


Snack Time  

Primary one and two children receive a snack time breakfast each morning. 

Children are encouraged to help prepare their food under the guidance and assistance of class teachers.
