Primary 7 had a wonderful Literacy workshop with well known children’s author, Declan Carville in conjunction with AmmA Creative Learning Centre.
We have been learning all about Mary and what a special lady she was. We have had lots of discussion about how she is the mother of Jesus and why we pray to Mary during the month of May.
Art Club used their natural environment as their canvas to create beautiful nature frames.
Fans of Wrexham , Barnsley, Macclesfield and Norwich were out in force today during primary 4 and 5 afterschool. They were treated to a spectacle of lower league football not seen since Oxford United triumphed in the league Cup in 1986!
Today we held a special celebration day following the school's success in the recent UK wide Anti-bullying Odd Socks competition. We started the day with a zoom call from Andy and the Odd Socks, followed by a whole school picnic in the beautiful sunshine.
Congratulations to our very popular P7 pupil, Shane, who had the privilege of playing at the CnmB Tír Eoghain half time games against Monaghan before the Tyrone v Monaghan Senior Ulster Championship first round game.
We cleared the beds, filled the pots and sowed some flower and vegetable seeds.
Afterschools Art Club have been stepping into Spring this month, creating Easter decorations and designing flower pots.
Not to be outdone by their bigger and older school mates, our P1/2/3/4 stars of the future graced the football field too in their very own Easter Cup.
