- We had our annual sponsored walk today. The children walked different distances to suit the different age groups around our local area.
- Primary 3 loved learning all about hurricanes today after Ireland's visit from hurricane Ophelia! They carried out an experiment to find out how hurricanes begin and how fast they travel.
- Primary 6 seized the opportunity to showcase their wonderful reading habits by participating in a Reading Partnership Programme with Primary 1.
- What an exciting end to another busy week in P5! After studying maps of the local area, the children were able to use their maps to locate treasure boxes throughout the school grounds.
- Primary 1 loved their first trip on the bus to Coalisland Library this morning! We all enjoy story time in school and were especially delighted today when Mary the librarian, read a book from our new favourite author Julia Donaldson.
- Primary 2 have been learning about our body this week. We decided to get into the Halloween spirit and create blood using some classroom resources.
- Keeping up the SPOOKTACULAR spirit in Kingsisland, Primary 2 used their knowledge of rhyming words to write a witches chant for concocting our very own witches brew.
- Another day, another exciting learning experience in P.1! The boys and girls took advantage of the lovely Autumn weather this morning and enjoyed going on an Autumn nature walk.
- The Primary 3's have been learning all about 'Houses and Homes' in their World Around Us topic.
- Primary 1 loved kick starting a busy school week with a super fun PE lesson this morning!
