There was plenty of excitement in St. John’s PS Kingsisland this morning as the pupils and staff who play for or have family connections with Clonoe O’Rahillys gathered to give a big cheer ahead of next week’s Tír Eoghan Intermediate Final! Pomeroy Forest Today, on a beautiful Autumn morning, our Primary One boys and girls made the short journey to Pomeroy Forest to walk the Nursery Rhyme Trail. LOUGHSHORE VEG P2 TRIP Our P2s had an absolutely fantastic day at Loughshore Veg with Ursula, Oliver and Chloe! Phonics in Primary 1 Today, the Primary 1 Boys and Girls learnt all about the t sound. World around us with P2 and P5 P2 had a blast with Master Lyons and his P5s this month, digging up carrots, potatoes and cabbages as part of our new World Around Us topic, the Harvest! LEADING THE WORLD IN MATHLETICS Mathletics Hall of Fame!!!

2nd place Sponsored Walk 2025 Everyone laced up their walking shoes and headed out the gates of Kingsisland early this morning, even before the call had been made by EA to close schools early because of Storm Amy. SPONSORED WALK 2025 Part 2 Fireman Gerard visits Primary 5. Primary 5 were delighted to welcome Firefighter Gerard in today for an educational, engaging and fun fire safety talk.
