P7 have been studying poetry over the last week or more and decided to look no further than our what's on our doorstep for inspiration. Lough Neagh has been an inspiration for many poets, including Seamus Heaney.
Having studied the topic of Lough Neagh in P6 the children had a wealth of knowledge they could tap into. I think you'll agree they've captured the beauty and mystery of the Loughshore in very eloquent form. Check out some of the children's work! A few future Heaneys on our hands!
