P5 have been studying instructional writing in literacy. Yesterday, under the culinary expertise of Mrs McVeigh and Mrs Lowe, P5 made flakemeal biscuits and shortbread.
Today, we talked about the features of instructional writing and used our experiences from baking our biscuits to write our instructions. We really enjoyed creating and sampling our tasty treats! It looks like Kingsisland have some star bakers in the making. Mary Berry, look out!
