Congratulations to our wonderful Primary 7 pupils alongside our good friends from Holy Family PS, Aughamullan who received the Sacrament of Confirmation this afternoon in St Patrick’s Church, Clonoe.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of the girls and boys, they were a real credit to themselves, their families and our school community.
A sincere thank you to Bishop Michael Router for leading such a beautiful and meaningful ceremony, alongside the priests of the parish, Father John and Canon Fee.
A very special word of thanks to our choir, made up of pupils from both St John’s P.S. Kingsisland and Holy Family P.S. Aughamullan, along with the soloists and talented musicians from both schools. Their singing and music were simply beautiful and added so much to the occasion, helping to make it a truly memorable celebration for all.
We extend our sincere thanks to Mrs O’Hagan for leading and conducting the choir, accompanied by Mairead, and to Margaret for preparing the church so beautifully for the celebration.
We also extend our thanks to the staff of both schools for the care and dedication shown in preparing the children so well for this important milestone in their faith journey.
