BEAM Creative Network Workshop 2 February 2026 (by Philip O'Neill (admin)) |
Today the Primary 7 pupils benefitted from an internet safety workshop which was designed to help children understand how to use the internet safely, responsibly, and confidently.
It introduced key online risks in an age‑appropriate way and taught them practical skills they can use every day.
Children were able to recognise safe vs. unsafe online behaviour, protect personal information, respond appropriately to cyberbullying, identify reliable vs. suspicious websites and practice healthy screen habits.
They worked in groups to come up with the best ways to respond to potential online risks, with the staff at BEAM impressed with their awareness of online security.
Thanks to BEAM for providing the pupils with this experience today.
