The girls let fly in their opening fixture banging in 3 goals without reply. They drew the next 2 round robin group games and qualified for the 3rd place play off where they were narrowly defeated by a single goal - the only goal they conceded all day, to exit the competition. Each and every one of our girls did their immense best, competing at the highest level, and most of all enjoying the experience. Thanks to Cumann na mBunscol for organising today's event, and to all the camogie coaches who come in to school and guide the children in the art of the small ball.
