What a day of football for our P7 Boys and Girls GAA Teams at the Large school's Academy Blitz today! The boys showed tremendous skill, determination, and teamwork, winning all three of their group games in impressive fashion.
As winners of the group, the lads progressed to the semi-final, where they faced a strong St Mary’s Cabragh side. After leading for the entire match, our boys were narrowly defeated in the dying moments by the eventual winners — a tough loss, but a performance to be proud of.
Congratulations to St Mary’s Cabragh on going on to win the tournament.
We are extremely proud of our boys for their outstanding effort and the pride they showed in representing St John’s PS Kingsisland.
A special well done to our girls team as well, who competed with distinction and represented our school with great heart and determination throughout the girls' tournament.
Well done to all of our players – a fantastic effort all round!.
