Today Primary 5 were delighted to visit the Argory and take in all the sights, sounds and natural sensations in this beautiful park.
As we are beginning our local World Around Us study on Canals, what better way to stimulate interest than by taking a ride on The Blackwater Community Barge and hearing all about The Derry Way and the Coalisland Canal. This was extremely informative and engaging as well as lots of fun. I'm sure you will agree we had BOAT-iful day. After our boat trip and water trail activities we had a super picnic and a brilliant time in the playback. Many thanks to our hosts at The Argory and aboard The Heron. A day that will live long in the memory of each and every one of our children!
