Primary 5 continue to harvest their bumper Lettuce crop. What’s more we also took some lettuce home to share with our families and make
some delicious fresh salad and sandwiches, some of which were enjoyed today at lunchtime! We have also planted out our lettuce seedlings which we sowed only 2 weeks ago and are hoping the warm weather and sunshine will ripen our tomatoes and bring on our potatoes, sweet corn, cabbage and replanted pepper plants. It’s great to see EVERYONE get involved in learning these important life skills as we bring veg to our tables! An unbeLEAFable effort by all the children I’m sure you’ll agree!
