LOCAL BIRD SPOTTING An unbelievable experience for the P7s this afternoon down at the moss behind our school. We were joined by Declan Coney, an
encyclopedia of knowledge on wild birds and wildlife. Declan treated us (students and teachers!) not just to bird watching with his state of the art equipment, but the opportunity to catch the birds safely, hold them, pet them, learn their call, ring them, and learn lots about the different species in the local area. This was outdoor learning at its finest. Thanks a million Declan!
