Following their fun-filled exertions on their 3 day school trip to Dublin, a very tired but nonetheless enthusiastic group of P7's made the journey to today's invitational tournament, which was played at An Mhaigh Tír na nÓg.
The tournament provided plenty of games for our girls and boys teams. Each team played five group games against St. Joseph's Galbally, Edendork, Annaghmore, St. John's Moy and St. Jarlath's Blackwatertown.
Fortunately for the boys they topped the group, winning all of their games and made the semi finals where they once again came up against Edendork. After tagging on scores towards the end against Edendork, it was a rematch with Galbally in the final and as ever a tight game followed with the Kingsisland boys winning on the day to lift the trophy and a triumphant return to school in time for home time!
Well done to all at St John's PS Moy and thanks to everyone for helping out today at the pitch.
