It was a memorable day for our girls Camogie team who came away as winners of the Cumann na mBunscol Shield! The girls competed so well in the group stage against St. Colmcilles PS Carrickmore, Gaelscoil Eoghan & Derrylatinee PS. In the shield Semi final they managed to overcome Gaelscoil Aodh Ruadh in such a tight game. There was one final big performance from the girls. Having lost to Gaelscoil Eoghan earlier in the group stage, they managed to turn this result around to come away as Shield Winners! Fantastic performances in all areas of the pitch and great scenes back at the school, where they have hopefully inspired the next bunch of players!
