TÍR EOGHAIN INDOOR FOOTBALL RUNNERS UP⚪

Congratulations to our boys' indoor football team who made it all the way to the County final today in the CnmB Tír Eoghain indoor football finals held in the Mid Ulster Sports Centre. Having won the Coalisland/Clonoe qualifying heat the boys were now competing against the other 9 section winners from across Tyrone. In a very tough group of 5 teams, consisting of Edendork, Galbally, Gaelscoil Eoghain and Fintona, the Kingsisland boys remained undefeated as they topped their group. In a hard and physical semi-final, the lads battled their way to victory over an excellent St Caireall's PS Aghyaran. The final was a repeat of our 3rd group game, which the Kingsisland boys had won. It proved to be a fiercely competitive game in which the young reds came up just short as tiredness finally set in to their weary legs, against a rejuvenated and skilful Galbally team. While disappointed, the boys can be very proud of themselves — coming second place in a tournament entered by 72 other primary schools in Tyrone was no mean feat. We are all so proud of the team.
