This week's afterschool soccer took us to the Pacific Coast of South America as we selected sides from the Chilean Primera Division.
Perennial contenders Universidad de Chile and Colo Colo locked horns, and Everton CD went up against mid-table rivals O'Higgins. With a little history lesson fired in before kick off about the great Bernardo O'Higgins, the action was fast and frantic in the style of the Cueca! The football style on show was reminiscent of the wonderful national sides managed by Marcelo Bielsa with passion, poise and potency evident in every game. Great times!
