The pupils always look forward to this assembly where 1 pupil from each class is chosen as the overall winner.
The standard of writing was phenomenal and included many activities like instructional writing for a pancake recipe, writing about what they want to be when they grow up, a cinquain poem, recount & report writing, poetry and even a blog!
The pupils were called up and spoke so confidently about what they were writing about!
Although it's a writing award, the projects cover many cross-curricular skills and all pupils in every class were praised for their efforts!
