What a glorious day Primary 5 had as we undertook our canal walk as part of our World Around Us topic.
We learned all about the wide variety of flora and fauna that populate the locality, and identified some invasive alien species as well. We completed a leaf and blossom identification task and a relaxing art activity. Our trip doubled up as a Teddy Bears Picnic, and everyone was delighted to sit down, relax and enjoy each other's company over some snacks and treats. A fine day out for sure!
