Luscious vegetation, still waters, sunny skies and a lot of happy Captains. Primary 5 took a field trip to the Argory today to explore the River Blackwater and the grounds of this magnificent estate!
As part of our World Around Us topic on canals, we learned all about how water was used to power and run the house, and transport goods and animals across the country. We also had the privilege of captaining The Blackwater Community Barge under the guidance of Conor. It truly was a wonderful day and an experience to last a lifetime!
