Kingsisland welcomed St John's Moy for a series of football matches. In resplendent sunshine, the boys and girls of Primary 4 and 5 took to the plush playing surface at Derrytresk G.F.C. to showcase their talents and skills.
With great teamwork and fabulous footwork, scores were in rich supply and the boys and girls did their schools proud. In some of the most competitive games witnessed this year, only a few scores separated the teams at the end of both matches. There was also a GAA social game where the children could exhibit their technique in a non-competitive environment.
Many thanks to Miss Lyons and her class for making the trip and to Derrytresk G.F.C. for the use of their facilities. As always, football and GAA continue to remain king at "The Hill."
