Today we were delighted to welcome our new Primary 1 pupils and their families to St John's P.S. Kingsisland for their Primary 1 ‘Induction day’.
The children had a wonderful day getting to know their new school, meeting their teachers and making new friends ahead of their September start. We were blessed with beautiful sunshine, allowing the children to spend lots of time outdoors exploring, playing and enjoying the fantastic facilities our school has to offer.
It was lovely to see so many smiling faces and to watch new friendships already beginning to form. Our staff thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both the children and their parents and sharing a little glimpse of school life at Kingsisland.
Starting school is a very special milestone and we hope today's visit helped make that exciting next step feel a little more familiar for everyone.
