Primary 4 celebrated Maths Week this week both inside and outside the classroom.
We used shapes to make tessellations and discussed why certain shapes worked better for this than others. To round off the week we took a trip outside into the glorious autumn sunshine to go on a stick hunt. We then had to work in groups to think about how we could use different lengths, types and shapes of sticks to make a variety of 2D shapes and label them.
