Today Manpreet, one of our P3 pupil's mummy, came into school and talked to us about Diwali, the festival of light which will be celebrated this Sunday. We read about the story of Rama and Sita.
The boys and girls loved the story which totally captivated them, and after Manpreet demonstrated how we could make our own Diyas (lanterns). We will finish making our Diyas and use them as part of a special assembly the P3 pupils will perform on Friday.
