To continue and enhance the promotion of GAA in Kingsisland we organised another challenge game today in Derrytresk GAA. This week the invitation went out to our close neighbours from Annaghmore PS.
With Master McGarrity and Master Lyons refereeing on both pitches, all of the children from both schools were encouraged and coached to give their best. It was evident to see the progress of all the Kingsisland boys, but a particular mention must go to Aaron, OisÃn, Niall, Michael, Kyle and Seanan for displaying excellent attitudes and performing with distinction today.
Next up for some of the squad is the Tyrone Cuman na mBunscol outdoor blitz, while for other squad members it's a visit to a tournament in South Derry. Thanks to Annaghmore for coming down today and giving us a good sporting game, and as ever many thanks to Derrytresk GFC for the use of their facilities.
