Today our P6 and P7 girls headed to Rock to participate in the Eileen McCreesh Memorial Tournament.
Playing games against St. Teresa's Loughmacrory and Sacred Heart, Rock, the girls worked hard as a team, displaying great skills with each game they played. After playing four games, the girls finished runners up. This set up a Cup semi-final against Gaelscoil Eoghain who were winners of their section. In what was a very evenly matched game, the Kingsisland girls led until the dying seconds when Gaelscoil Eoghain scored a goal to win by the smallest of margins to progress to the Cup Final.
Well done to our girls for all their efforts today and a special thank you to the McCreesh Family and Sacred Heart Primary School for their hospitality. The girls had a ball!
