Never mind the tension surrounding the recent All Ireland semi final win for Tyrone, there was equally as much tension in Kingsisland this week, as Derrytresk U-13's played a talented Rock GFC team managed by none other than our very own P7 teacher Master McGarrity, in the Grade 3 League final. With the majority of the Hill Boys having been taught and coached by Master McGarrity, it was a bitter sweet outcome for the popular teacher as our present and past pupils ran out eventual winners. There was definitely great CRAIC all week in Kingsisland. Well done everyone and especially our 19 past and present pupils who made up the bulk of the Derrytresk team.
