Well done to our boys' GAA team who won their local Allianz CnmB Tír Eoghain heat, held today in Coalisland Na Fianna indoor hall.
After a series of 12 round robin league fixtures, and with some great performances from Brocagh and Laghey, the Kingsisland lads emerged undefeated to top the group and automatically qualify for the final.
They were to meet the winners of a playoff game between Annaghmore PS & Primate Dixon PS who finished joint 2nd. After finishing level at the end of full time, the two teams required extra time before Annaghmore made it through with a single goal victory.
In the final the Kingsisland boys blasted out of the blocks and with great determination came away with the win.
