Today the Primary 6 and 7 pupils took part in the Christmas Cup, played in Champions League style with group stages and knockout format — all completed in sunshine before the afternoon's heavy rain!
With pupils allocated into team names of leading clubs in Europe, it was a group stage exit for Borussia Dortmund and Juventus. In the knockout semi-finals, Barcelona and Inter Milan exited, leaving a final between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Despite a late goal to really put the pressure on, like many times in the professional game it was Real Madrid who took the title!
