Primary Four made the short journey to Armagh Planetarium today for an action packed day. First we went to the Dome Theatre to learn all about the Solar System before we all took a ride on the 'Armageddon' roller coaster which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Next, the children worked in pairs to design and create their own rocket using junk art before they had an opportunity to launch their rockets to outer space. We then enjoyed an opportunity to explore the space exhibition.
Finally, we stopped in Loughall Country Park for some playtime in the play park.
The children had a fantastic day consolidating all their learning on their World Around Us topic on Space.
