Today, our Primary One children took part in their Summer Cup competition. Inspired by the World Cup, teams representing Spain, Portugal, Scotland and France competed to be crowned champions.
After some fantastic performances in the semi-finals, Portugal and France progressed to the final. Following a very closely contested match, Portugal emerged victorious with a thrilling 3–2 win.
In the Shield Final, Spain defeated Scotland 1–0 to claim the title.
The children had a wonderful time throughout the tournament, showing excellent teamwork and sportsmanship. Everyone was a winner today as the main goal was to have fun and enjoy working together.
To recognise their efforts, every child received a sweet, while Portugal proudly lifted the Summer Cup trophy. Well done to all of our Primary One children for taking part and making it such a memorable event!
